For the Atari aficionados!!!
Some Atari guys are working together with the Team in a Atari core for the V4.
Baby steps... we already have a green screen :-)

Thank you! Looking forward to Atomix, Cubase and Calamus! :-)

An old enemy shall be our friend! No matter the core reflash!

Hope V4 could have it all-in-one, enabling EmuTOS+Mint+Chipset beneath

Please get rid of the current manga style character pic for V2.12 onwards!
Hey, I’d even take an Atari logo any day VS the boot picture we have to stare at currently. ;)

Please stay ontopic, lets help them to get the Vampire fly with ST. I just had a conversation with Tuxie, there are still a few problems left. One seems to be FPU detection from TOS 3.06. They use this as it's available in original Sunnyvale source code for debugging/analysing and it is 68030 capable and they are even able to compile 1:1 (with stone old alycon compiler) the same result as in ROM chip, or modify it for debugging. I wondered that they don't use EmuTOS, but as I saw in german forum there are currently problems to compile it, trouble with gcc as far as I understood. But original TOS is even better, even if 3.06 is originally from TT.

By the way, Exxos and his team are currently designing (and building!) a brand-new motherboard for Atari STf. Combined to a Vampire board, the result would just be A*W*E*S*O*M*E :-D

Bringing the Atari crowd into the fold means increasing numbers, and getting one step closer to ASIC becoming feasible.

And they do have a cool logo, I'll give them that.

Heh, the best Mac is an Amiga, now the best Atari can be an Amiga too :)

To be fair at the moment its basically just PC and Apple, so a new Vampire system with Amiga and Atari can only be a good thing. Good ASIC and some custom GFX could make quite a bit of headway, we can only hope for the future.
Till then the vampire is the best thing there is :)
