The standalone vampire v4 already has ethernet, usb and fast ide on board.
It also has 3x io header ports and im wondering what these may be used for?

With the v4 only having DIGITAL-VIDEO and lacking the ability to output the amigas true rgb 15khz... Could one of the io headers be used to output rgb via an attachment/adapter?

I cant imagine ever needing/using 3 io headers and can't help but think perhaps one of them should have been sacrafice in favour of a vga rgb type video connector for those of us that prefer to use an original crt monitor.

  Anyways, just a thought.

Wi-Fi, extra RAM and other possible expansions.

I am not sure its intended as Video out/RGB.

People used to complain a lot on dual monitor setup. Why on Earth would you need it?

Ah, I see CRT monitors. There are DIGITAL-VIDEO to VGA converters.

There's nothing out there that will take hdmi and convert it to 15khz 640x256 analog rgb for use with an original amiga monitor. Hdmi is out of the question... Which is why I'm wondering if the IO can be used for such an application.

hoping they're for the v4/standalone to run external floppy/parallel/serial/scsi…? :) at least there is some potential even if it never gets realised immediately...

It's my understanding that YPbPr component is different to the rgb on a 1084 amiga monitor. Not sure how you separate the sync.
