Hi,

I got problem when programing my Vampire 600 v2 with an USB blaster.

Info (209060): Started Programmer operation at Sun Jul 08 18:05:21 2018
Info (209016): Configuring device index 1
Info (209017): Device 1 contains JTAG ID code 0x020F40DD
  Info (209007): Configuration succeeded -- 1 device(s) configured
Info (209018): Device 1 silicon ID is 0x14
Info (209044): Erasing ASP configuration device(s)
  Info (209023): Programming device(s)
Info (209021): Performing CRC verification on device(s)
Error (209027): Verification failed for device number 1
  Error (209012): Operation failed
Info (209061): Ended Programmer operation at Sun Jul 08 18:06:19 2018

During the verification process it fails exactly at 6% every time.

Could this be do to the USB cable?

  Regards

  /Henrik

Please read the manual carefully. Consider when Vamp/Amiga should be turned on and when not.

EXTERNAL LINK
This should be the summary. If you follow ALL steps including proper software, there is no reason to fail.

Power OFF your Amiga before connecting the USB-Blaster device.
Connect the USB-Blaster to the Vampire JTAG header using the JTAG cable.
Connect the USB-Blaster to the PC using the Mini-USB to USB cable.
The 'POWER' LED on the USB-Blaster should be 'Red'.
    Open Quartus II Programmer.
    Click the 'Hardware Setup' button.
Select the USB-Blaster item in hardware device list.
Click 'Add file' and select a .JIC file to flash on the Vampire board.
NEVER USE a .JIC file that is not dedicated to your hardware. It might DESTROY your FPGA.
Check the 'Program/Configure' and 'Verify' options. See picture below.
FYI, by selecting Erase checkbox, Vampire FPGA will emptied. So that the Amiga will boot on built-in CPU (V600).
    Power ON your Amiga
    Click 'Start' button.
Your Amiga will freeze or reboot on built-in CPU during this process.
Wait until flashing is finished, '100% (Successful)'. It takes about 1 or 2 minutes.
Power OFF your Amiga and wait at least 10 seconds.
    Finally, Power ON your Amiga.
