Hi,

Is there any update on the production of V600.

First enquired getting one about 1 year ago. Last I heard back in January "it will be back in production soon"
Now June so just curious and still keen to get my hands on one.

Thanks,

So even though i have been waiting a year i still can't buy one? How long is this back order?
This vampire card really seems more like a myth than a product.

Yes, but even Igor said He never think so much people want to buy Vampire cards, especially for A600 model. And remember, it's still hobby product, their working on it in their spare time. It's not company like Hyperion or Phase5.

Apollo accelerators are presenting themselves as a company. I guess this is where the confusion is for alot of people. Apollo make promises and promote things they know they can't achieve. And i guess putting more stress on the hobbyist who is try to keep up with demand. I think I'll give up seeking v600 as its look like apollo dont care.
Tony Wilen does great job with emulation so for high end amiga i think that is the way forward.

I went through the order database and can't find any Mike Glover in it. I assume then you hadn't put yourself in the waiting list when it was open and aren't in the backorder list that Igor is processing.

You should contact a reseller which has stock to get one. Amedia just received a small batch of them.

Where? When? It was "in house" (as in house) production until recently. Its moving to Amiga shops, which is great news.

They sell as much pancakes they can make, too bad they are not IBM.

Only debuff was moving Vamp v4 to this year, which in AmigaWorld isnt much of debacle. Its seventh year I am waiting for TW final, Libre Office, OS 4.2 and ethernet driver promised back when x1000 was announced. x5000 owners have some similar troubles to beta OS that used to come with SAM460 and x1000. Tabor fans see it only on AEON blog.New Phase 5 hasnt produced more then hot vapor. Remind me if there is some more ques :-) Ah, yes, mythical MorphOS x64, Wings Remastered for Amiga ... Then new Zorro FPGA card also has limited availiability.

Not a constructive comment Stefano.

Renaud. I contacted someone at apollo a year ago very shortly after the website stop taking orders. I had just got a a600. I was told it would be back in stock soon. If I'm not on that list then can't do much else.

Actually better than your quite aggressive comments.

You might want to get in touch with them before they run out of stock.
