Hello Ronck Robert

to upgrade to Silver 6, download the package from here - EXTERNAL LINK
Load up your Amiga environment on WinUAE and copy / unpack the SILVER6.lha to your hard disk device.

Ensure you read the instructions from the directory first.

Once done, place the hard disk device back into your Amiga and boot normally.

Once booted open a NEW CLI

Once in CLI then navigate to the place when you unpacked the SILVER6.lha and go into the directory - using the cli type "flashromkickV3_c_3229_11x_c7g" without quotes - this will initiate the Apollo Core update process - do not power off until this is complete.

That should do it.

Copy silver6 lha to a CF card and unpack
On the Amiga and run it on the Amiga ...

Or if it's OS X or Linux , uncompres it and copy the folder to your cf and run it on the Amiga

    Takes just a few seconds

Use Classic workbench to make life easy :)

Easy now, most people get this right, so can you.

The instructions file says this: (This one is from the Silver 6 archive)
-------------------------------------------------------------
"Here is SILVER6 APOLLO Core Update for the Vampire2 V600-2

To update your Vampire V2 please download this AMIGA executable file.

Start the update program from CLI.

Please note the update will reprogram your VAMPIRE.
The update will take several seconds.
Turning the computer off during the update, a power-outage or other failure can render your Vampire non-operational.

Please note that you will do the update on your own personal risk.

The Apollo-Team it not liable for any problem, failures or data loss.

Please note that if your turn the Vampire2 non-functional as described because of powerloss - you can get the Vampire operational again by using an external flash device. This device is not included and must be purchased separately. "
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Instructions can also be found here:
http://www.apollo-accelerators.com/#download

In short, there's not a whole lot of explaining to do for the Core update, but after you unpacked the lha archive, copy it to your CF card, then you need to start the Command Line Interface "CLI" on your Amiga 600 and go to the right directory then execute the unpacked file, be sure you type exact case at it a long name with not so easy to remember numbers and letters..
