MSata Adapter and Coffin R49 OS Issue

I am having an issue with the mSata to IDE adapter. I was able to write the Cofifin R49 to a 32GB SSD but for some reason the Vampire 500 V2+ is unable to recognize the drive.

I have a similar setup as described here.

EXTERNAL LINK

I am able to attach the drive in WinUAE and view the files but on the Vampire I cannot see any of the Partitions in the EBM.

Did anyone have a better experience with this setup.

Thanks

Mike

Hard to say from here.

You say AMIGA OS can not see the drive in EARLY BOOT MENU?
Also when you boot a FLOPPY WB, then you can not see the drive?
And on the PC you can see the drive, using the same IDE2SATA adapter?

Correct. Also using HDToolBox from the WB 3.1 Install on the real Amiga 500 the tool says "Unit is not a disk (type 1)" however is seems it pull the right Geometric info

Cylinders: 62037
Heads: 16
Blocks Per Track: 63
Blocks Per Cylinder: 1008

Also trying to write gives "Error -3 on write!"

I also had better luck with the CF card. I was able to write the .IMG using "tsgui" within WinUAE. The only issue was that is was %50 slower than writing within Windows.
