Another partition containing other stuff. The previous 32GB partition should not conflict with it.

So, we'll be skipping v44 and going right to v45?  :)

Hey folks,

I've only been loosely keeping up with this Apollo OS thing, I'm working with the assumption it's O.S 3.9, with all the right drivers, etc for Vampire and boatloads of software bundled-in too?

Question - is there a bare-bones version?

Reason - having a WB setup that already has drivers, file systems, etc, setup for Vampire sounds great, but I'm not really keen on getting the other'bloat' that comes with it (it needs a 64Gb card now right?).

I have a handful of apps that I use, which I can install myself, and apart from that I like to keep my setup light and fast, rather than being bogged-down with unnecessary features (almost) like a Windows machine (sorry for mentioning the 'W' word here...)

But I haven't used it yet - is Apollo OS still fast and responsive? Or is the Vampire's extra speed and memory all used up by trinkets and extra features?

It looks shiny like MAC OS, and is fast as a greased lightning.
And its 32GB - but it includes all MAME, WHDLOAD and hundreds of games, MAC OS, and all kind of extras..

I would add that if you've got a vampire and not tried apolloOS, you need to get this thing and try it out at the very least.

if you want to show off your vampire, these guys have built the workbench with all the tools to do just that

emulators, web browsers, system bench mark tools, productivity software, games, demos, videos and video players. its all there.

will be downloading and seeding if its torrented as soon as :D

Apollo OS assists in defining the Vampire/Amiga as the NEW "lowest common denominator" of the AOS (classic) standard!

Vampire 2 is AMIGA's baseline of computing now!

  It's a done deal!!!

There are people with multiple Vampires already. That says it all.

Hey Thierry, how many have you got so far?
I've only got one and just about to install 2.7 core.
Best Amiga I ever had
I have been using it in my a500+ but figure I will put it into my A2000 because I have a network card for that.
Looking forward to the standalone though. I reckon it will be awesome.
I am also going to give this Apollo OS a go as it sounds promising.
Cheers from OZ

No, looks like the regular PFS3AIO but I think the updated version is perhaps still a bit too untested to rely on?

Good work with ApolloOS. The neogeo emulator is superb. Good presentation of the games. Waiting for a new version (with audio).
