Hi, just a question, what's the differences between the core update x10, X11 etc? Which one i must chose? Thank you

Speed. Choose the speed you like.

Most vampire card will take x11 with no problems, but for me, my card was an early vampire 600 it could not handle the x11 properly so i had to switch to x10 and now its solid rock stable

  so its up to you, either start with x11 or x12 and see how it goes

x10 is not a bad speed by the way! It is more than enough to watch movies and play all games just fine!

Its 080 clock speed, expressed as relativne to a500/a500+/a600/a1000/a2000 famous clock of 7.06 MHz

So safe core Is 70mhz
Bit overclocked 77mhz
X12 core Is 85mhz

All said above is true. And for future reference, here's a really simple explanation. If the base system clock of a regular Amiga in PAL is 7.09 MHz, then:
x10 = 70.90 MHz
x11 = 77.99 MHz
x12 = 85.08 MHz
x13 = 92.17 MHz
x14 = 99.26 MHz

It's that simple :) And this means 080 CPU is clocked at this multiplied base frequency, but that also means RAM is affected by this base clock as well - therefore a most stable system (CPU+RAM) is at x10, and depending on capabilities of a certain card it can go as high as x13 or x14 (might well need some cooling, obviously).

Hope this helps.

Yes Cooling can help sometimes, the FPGA can get quite hot.
I have a passive cooler on my V600 but with an x13 core even that wasn't enough, then introduced some active cooling too and then it was stable with a x13 beta core.

Will X14+ V4 cores require active cooling?
Will they remain unofficially avail, via chat only?

V4 never gets hot.
Always cold as a fish.
