Yeah, I consider myself lucky that I appear to be growing out of them.
I still sometimes get a slight discolouration at the very edge of my vision which lasts a few weeks to months, its most likely related, but I dont consider that a migraine as it doesnt stop me doing anything, no headache or anything.

But yeah they are not nice to say the least, I like to play it safe and avoid anything I think could give me one.

I am the opposite as I have got older I have suffered with them more and more to the point I have had to stop working about 5 years ago as the floresent tube lights in my office was setting them off daily... now my health has degraded as the migraines have affected various other aspects of my life :( anyway back on topic - once your serial is added to the core update you will love it.. the higher resolutions allow for a crisp and vibrant workbench, then there is the fun to be had playing ports of doom, quake and wolfenstien!!! hours of fun!

Stress seemed to trigger mine as well.
But back on topic, yeah it's going to be epic when I get it fully set up. I just got an 4x EIDE adaptor and an IDE cd-rom drive, even better when I get the A1500 case from Stephen Jones sometime next year and stick it all in there :)

Reviving this thread a bit.
I've been waiting over a month now, and I want to make EXTRA sure that my V2.1 A600 vamp serial will get whitelisted in the next core update, so I can finally get colours in RTG!.
How would you go on about doing that? Email someone on the team?
The manual registration procedure is now obsolete, right? It's all supposed to be automatic, but I don't want to wait 3 more months to realise that my serial got missed for some reason out of my control!

I wouldn't want that either.

Renaud Schweingruber used to handle registration things. All processes involving humans have quirks, bugs and delays.

Just on the off chance, did you have any luck getting any info?
I too would like to make sure that my board is indeed added to the whitelist before the next update.

I've emailed Gunnar before, as his address is listed on this website, and didn't get an answer too, but I can only assume that he can pass my email with my serial to whoever is responsible for adding these onto the whitelist.

Received a nice email today :

" When we can expect Core release with our serials whitelisted?
Seems to me like no one from Apollo team want to take responsibility for this and I’m pretty sure all of you guys read the forum. This is definitely not a good business. I really don’t want to be an ass but the lack of any communication from the team regarding this issue makes me think that you guys don’t give a flying s... about the Vampire users at all. Hope this will get resolved soon."

Very inspiring and motivating for volunteers trying to bring updates on an Amiga project.

New GOLD core is just around the corner with all last serials and new features, it's just a matter of a couple of days/hours.

Received your email on 08.10.18 21:07, answered it on 10.10.18 09:04.

What kind of SLAs are people expecting ?

Should we start selling "24x7 PREMIUM SUPPORT" contracts ?

Yup, charge 50e more for it, and all goes to Tukko :-)

Interesting thing modern day capitalism make people think money equals time equals importance ... equals professionalism? egoism? ism?

I suspected it might be due to gold 2.11, but like everyone else didn't know for sure what was happening.
Thanks for the update.

Surely enough my rude and unfair email obviously helped some people including me to finally get the answer we were looking for.

Thanks for the update Renaud! It was a quick answer in the end, you're right!

I think the success of the board is a blessing and a curse: you're gaining a rain of new members/users not necessarily knowing how the team works - I didn't realise you were volunteers for example!

To narrow it down, only the serial process is the core of the problem here: some of us have been waiting for over a month to have colours in RTG... making us more impatient than we should, especially when there was no clear ETA for v2.11 nor recent confirmation from the team on the auto-process to add serials to next core, which seems to drop every 2/3 months. A long time to wait if your serial is overlooked!

Anyway all good now, thanks for taking the time to respond.
Keep up the good work guys, much appreciated... go Team!!

Not at all. Not a single second such message will bring anything positive. Nothing to be proud of, it is just pure coincidence.
