I see JFIF (JPEG) picture datatype 44.9 2018-08-22
EXTERNAL LINK
  - modest improvements to AMMX subroutines
  - AMMX optimization for Apollo Core Gold 2.7 and later
  - FPU and AMMX availability is checked before use at runtime

Quite glad more and more software gets Vamp optimized.

My biggest fantasy that all Amiga apps and datatypes are from now on 2018+ AMMX optimized...forcing more Vampire sales. I WANT SHOW CASE APPS AND GAMES TO BE 100% AMMX and vamperized and not backward compatible to stock or old hardware accelerators anymore and it is so shiny and show casing...when people see it...THEY WANT TO GET THE HARDWARE just to use the software and it never works in WinUAE ever!!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting horny thinking about it!!

      No need.

More and more currently developed 68k software seems to support Vampire one or other way. V4 launch can only move that forward.

In my wet dream, Hyperion would allow legal basis OS 3.1+ of Coffin/AmiKit X Vampire for kind of cut down CORE3 AGA/ECS/OCS emulation layer for OS4 (that other core of x1000/x5000/A1222 should be used at least for something - emulating old chipsets and/or running PPC Linux or PPC Linux virtual apps inside OS4 would also be nice). That would be mutually beneficial ONE AGREEMENT.

In best scenario, OS4 would have access to old apps out of box and transparently, as well as PPC Linux tool, making it daily usable OS while Amikit X Vampire and Coffin would include SOURCE CODE 080 MMX PRECOMPILE of OS 3.1 + that fixes thing making Coffin even blazingly faster and with less need to replace OS components. As well as shiny AmiKit X. Those two could come preinstalled with each Vamp for $20+VAT - $5 for Apollo, $5 to AmiKit, $5 to Hyperion and $5 to some mutual software development fund.

I do have AmiKit Real 9 vamperized edition installed in my A500+v500 v2. I am for sure a supporter for AmiKit Real Vamperized Edition no question about it. Next time..I will donate good money to the cause of further developing this suite.

I am very satisfied to hear that already new apps and datatypes are vamperized. :D

Sorry to disappoint. This software is the exact opposite. It's an all-in-one binary that benefits every 68k from 68020 to 68080 by auto-selecting the respective processor-specific functions at runtime.

Well for this one it makes sense. It is a datatype so it should it be that way. But I am hoping showcasing games are not - grin -

Very interesting and nice approach. Less binaries eats less space and its scaleable code.Preserves Amiga heritage in a way one-binary-for-all.
