I'm just curious, are we talking about general 68k optimizations or Vampire specific ones?
AFAIK this is only plain 68k optim yet. Vamp specific ones will arrive later ;)

IIRC there is rooms full of monsters in the dungeons will lot of projectiles it would be a good test to show the performance IMHO. Why little indians mode was not used? I guess chunky is.

Unfortunately it does not work like this. AMIGA OS is a big Endian OS. You can not run a Little Endian program on a Big Endian OS just by flipping a switch.
APOLLO 68080 has Instruction supporting Little Endian access, those help for performance.
