I was clearing stuff out and came across the seven disk pack I bought from CU Amiga back in the day with T.F.X on it, has anyone tried this on a vampire?
I have vague memories of trying it on a 1260 but I think it was still very slow due to AGA.

I did play it on an 060 A1200 back in the old days but the vampire should run it beautifully in AGA gold 3... well hopefully.

It is very buggy.

i did try it on Gold 3 beta last January. I have posted a video about it at the FB Vampire Users group.

I never have account on FB and this movie is a little pity. Far better option is: learn C++, code with Qt, and post bugs and suggestions on: EXTERNAL LINK . Eventually you can use Googole gate service to post questions on newsgroups https://groups.google.com/forum/#!overview
So: there are still few places in the web (like this site) without corporate bullshit...

Yes it was slow on 060 but Im not sure this was due to AGA, I think  main reason was that it was unfinished. They probably never go to the optimization part in the dev process.. Amiga market was more or less dead by then so it was released "as is" on Amiga Format Cover CD. People who wanted to play advanced flight sims had probably swithced to PC.

TFX is prime territory for a Vampire re-write.

Imagine a boxed version....
