They would love to see more Atari chips support, seems EmuTOS and freeMINT are not enough.

First of all I'd like to say - Gunnar and Vampire Team, you did (and still do) a really great job. I'm really impressed with both Vampire hardware and 68080 core.
I'm tracking that project since the begin: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=59629&page=8#150 and 68080 core even longer.

I'm huge Vampire fan, and I'd like to buy one (internal or standalone), but lack of Atari hardware keeps me from buying it.

I appreciate Vincent Riviere's and EmuTOS team work, for porting it to Amiga hardware, but I see nothing sexy in using non-Atari compatible hardware.

I understand emotional connection to personal computer, like Amigans do. But, at same time EmuTOS/FreeMINT offer more flexibility, like AROS do, while taking best for the future. Vamp adds modernized hardware via FPGA.

true, that's there reason we are here - emotional connection.

I think, the main Vampires benefit (besides a new super duper cpu) is hardware compatibility. It allows to run old Amiga games and demos.

Would be cool to have the same compatibility level with Atari hardware. But I'm aware that's out of scope of Vampire Team.

Regarding EmuTOS/FreeMINT, they are well addressed by Aranym and BeePi. Thanks to Atari OS, there is no need to touch a hardware directly at all.

If there are verilogs for Cyclone of Yamaha, STE blitter and Falcon DSP some v6 "might just have it".

Does TOS/games use MMU? (TT/Falcon class apps and games?)

If I'm not wrong, MiST/MiSTer has verilog core for ST/STE. I'm not sure about DSP.

TOS 3.x and 4.x yes, but we have EmuTOS (which is Vampire's MMU friendly).
Games, I'm not sure, some demos yes (e.g. DML's one)

Well, seems some degree of ST/STE compatibility might be done once most of Amiga goals are met. Backporting Blitter and Yamaha to Cyclone V+ would do the magic. Is something else needed for basic TT compatibility for apps? Hi Res 2 Col modes?

I ve never heard of Falcon clone other then refurbished ones for studio use.

Can FreeMINT support banging the chipset - Blitter and Yamaha, if present?

Also, what DTP and Audio software you can recommend that work on STE/max TT?
