Hello,

when I try to open a PDF-file in Apdf there are the following messages:

Error (1024) PDF version 1.5 xpdf supports version 1.3
Error (3844) Unknown filter JPXDecode
Error (3221) XObject I1 is the wrong type
Error (23040) unknown filter JPXDecode
Error (3361) XObject 'Im001' id wrong type

How can I update Apdf tha I can open these newer PDF-files?

Thank you!

Maybe Apdf is old for the document you are trying to open. Why dont you try RNOPDF from aminet. It is a very new pdf viewer and for me it has opened every pdf file i have thrown at it so far.

I tried GrimoriumPDF. I had to install Polybios. But after installing Polybios there was the same Message "This program requires polybios.hwp 1.2"

  Can anybody help me?

  Thank you!

You must copy the Hollywood libraries "polybios.ext" and "polybios.hwp" to the folder where the program resides.

I suggest you to copy the libraries "polybios.ext" and "polybios.hwp" in the system folder SYS:Libs/Hollywood/.

If the folder "Hollywood" does not exist in LIBS, you must create it and copy all the native OS3 Hollywood libraries into it. In this way all Hollywood programs will work without problems.

As i said, RNOPDF doesnt require any of the above extra steps in installation. You just extract it and it is ready to work.
