| Not certain what I'm missing.. When I attempt to boot this image, I see an Error "Boot/Amiga/AROSBootstrap Program failed (error #8000000) Wait for disk activity to finish " What are the correct UAE settings? Thanks in advance.

| here is the manual:

the only change, not integrate aros-rom and aros-ext but use only kick.rom in main rom file (under rom)

| It is making good progress now. My new version works on V4 standalone, including whdload. I will look at adding network and sdcard and it will be available for UAE and as HDF-File (for Vampire). Michal has solved some of the problems so I am optimistic now. There is still the boot problem on vampire cards but we are at it. A new impression:

| Aros always targetted to be 3.1 compatible (+extensions)
Breaking 3.1 compatibility will certainly not happen because most software was created for 3.1. Extensions of the API are already there and of course always possible in future. I do not think there are any plans to synchronize with 3.1.4. or 3.2 in any way.

| It boots on V500 V2+. Had some trouble changing the screenmode but I eventually managed to get 800x600 out via DIGITAL-VIDEO. It's maybe a little bit slow but usable. Didn't test much, my A500 has some unrelated hardware problems with chip ram atm so I can't comment how stable AROS is. If there's no-one else testing, I'll try to sort it out asap. Anyways, I'll test more later when I have time. If there's something specific you want me to try out, let me know.

| RTG works? I know it is a little problematic. To change screenmode you need to retry one or two times and reboot. You cannot change it "on the fly"
also Network should work and SD-Card should be useable
integrated are also some testfiles in extras (can be shown/view with doubleclick) and games in work (including whdload). Would be nice to hear if it works.

| Yes, RTG works after hitting retry couple of times. After changing resolution, mouse clicks do not register at pointer tip but some pixels top left of it. Adoom runs nice and smooth with RTG :) Network also works after configuring arostcp. I'm very happy this is beginning to be usable, thanks! More testing later!
