So, I realise AOS/AROS is only as good as the updated software, but my personal main use of a computer is spreadsheets, wordprocessor and pdfs.
Also some picture manipulation using paint.net and Gimp.
 
The main constraint for ease of use on the Amiga regarding these programs are screen realestate. AOS/AROS would get around this having large monitors and high resolutions vs the dual monitor setup often used on PC's.
 
Have there been any tests done like this from a productivity/office point of view?

My personal plan for the Vampire includes an X window server so that I can use productivity software from a linux box like the Raspberry Pi
This would allow access to a modern browser as well as open/libre office as well as Gimp and other such tools.

I will have to look into that setup.

Sounds like a good fit for my Checkmate box.
