Exciting times. I'm in the "holding breath for V4 A1200" category. All in all, very please with this project.

Loved the way Jesus explained it, thank you for great demo.

And finally - Vamp is shutting the nagsayers down (full chipset, almost 100% compatibility, FPU, All via DIGITAL-VIDEO  ...) to end it, V4 needs just 68k MMU compatibility - which is great for Atari and Mac68k compatibility too!

My only worry is that I won't be able to get one soon enough! ;)

It will fully use SAGA performance-wise and as usual, maybe use onboard IDE and I/O, or even that might go to V4 cores at some point. So more and more Vamp will be standalone inside JUST BECAUSE every part of Amiga "needs to be accelerated" not only CPU. ROM,LAN,USB, EIDE, CPU calls, RAM all go via Vampire now and will continue to do so. And believe me, every other solution would water down Vamp experience.

There might be downgrade option to use onboard AGA since it is there, but that would be for extreme commpatibility cases Turtle mode cant do. Ultimatevly, 080-MMX SAGA might be able to also run UAE 68k well enough even to handle the most extreme cases, like MMU Amiga titles we cant handle with present V4 cores. And even that would be temporary solution until that is in the core.

Having more LE space for more stuff is main V4 adventage on long run.Nice thing that FPGA,I wish my x1000 had one onboard!
